Requests System Help for Authors

The new submission system, which has some very cool features for authors, eliminates some of the uncertainty in linking their articles to the publishers asking for it. Authors are now able to combine the submission of your article to the review process and to the request you have been writing for. This means that submitting articles for public or private requests is a one step process. Follow the steps below to see how the new system works for writers.

Submitting a NEW Article to a Request

  • Make sure to click the 'Is this for a request?' button after attaching your file and selecting a category.
  • Once you have clicked the button a drop down will appear.
Submitting to a Document to a Request
  • Scroll down andhighlight the request the article is being submitted to.
  • If you have private requests they will appear first and then public requests will be below it.

  • To attach the article click on the link next to the 'Document' field. This will bring up a list of all of your articles, so you can simply select the document you wish to submit to the request.
