One thing that we are working to create through constant-content is a safe place for webmasters to find and buy articles. We're working to try and make the buying experience one where good content is readily available and purchasers can confidently buy the content they need. Quite frankly, it's hard to know who to trust on the internet, but one thing that is certain, we all know a well written article when we see one.

Constant-Content, A Meritocracy of Sorts

We've tried to pull the idea of a meritocracy into a freelance writing marketplace. The idea of a meritocracy, is that people are given power on the basis of merit, in this scenario, we would adjust that to say that people make sales on the basis of merit. Meritocracy is what makes some of the biggest co-operative endeavors work, Wikipedia and open source software (think Firefox and Linux) are some great examples of meritocracies. Granted, in writing, this idea of a meritocracy doesn't quite hold, but perhaps we could say that only the most suitable (and timely) articles are the ones that are purchased.

The Request System: Try the Articles Before You Buy

This idea of a meritocracy is particularly true in our article request system. Each request goes out and many people respond to the request, not just with promises that they can write the article, but with the actual articles themselves. As a consequence, the requester has the choice to purchase only the articles that suit their needs. The requester can see a good portion of article (as much as the author chooses to reveal) and they can make their purchases based on the article itself.

Avoid Frustration Buying Content Online

Large content projects can be a recipe for frustration especially when farmed out to a team of freelance writers with little or no guidance, the request system can help take away some of that frustration by allowing the purchaser to only choose to buy the articles that really capture the message that they are hoping to convey to their visitors!
