The era of prohibition in America was one of the most colorful times in our history. The Volstead Act was hated by most every citizen. While the law itself was a joke, the manner in which it was enforced was even sillier. The feeble attempts to stem the flow of alcohol throughout the nation, was like poking a finger in a cracking, crumbling dike. Speakeasies sprang up in every city. Bathtub gin became a household word. And organized crime found a hotbed in which to flourish. But in the midst of all the craziness there appeared on the scene one honest revenue agent named Isadore (Izzy) Einstein, and his partner Moe. Their story is fascinating and somewhat inspiring.
