Hello. I'm Babajide Emmanuel Akinyele-Williams. I'll be 40 years old, June 16 this year so I guess, as the saying goes, my life is just about to begin.
I am from the South Western part of Nigeria. I live in the largest city in Sub-Saharan Africa - a very exciting city called Ibadan.
I have been writing for several years and I have developed my writing skills extensively. I have a well grounded ability to convey ideas and information in a clear, concise and lucid manner. I consider it an exciting privilege to provide information for readers in ways that they would find practical and beneficial.
I hold a Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering and I have done some work with Enhanced Oil Recovery Techniques (EORT) especially as relating to the Niger Delta region of Nigeria. I have also worked in plastic molding plants. I am quite familiar with plastic molding techniques - injection molding, blow molding and extrusion.
In the course of my work, I encountered a series of engineering software which sparked off my interest in software development. I've since worked extensively with Visual basic 6 and I'm in the process of migrating to VB.Net I enjoy programming immensely and I'm a member of developerfusion.co.uk I write programs for small business enterprises.
I also have a strong interest in the Stock Market. I have been able to do in-depth analysis and have made consistently sound investments. My opinion is highly regarded by several stock brokers who jokingly refer to me as a renegade stock broker. I am quite familiar with fundamental and technical analytical techniques, but I lean more on the former.
I have always had a strong passion for writing - especially fiction and poetry. But I also write extensively in other areas as well. I also do commentaries on current affairs. I have several articles published in the Guardian Newspapers, which is widely acclaimed to be the best newspaper in Nigeria.
My wife holds a bachelors degree in Nursing. She is keenly interested in Psychology and Counseling and has delivered several papers in both disciplines. She is also working towards a Masters degree in Counseling. I have had the privilege of working closely with her and preparing extensive research papers in these areas.
I have therefore developed a deep interest and some measure of expertise in several related areas including: Teenage Challenges, Conflict and Change Management, Love and Relationships as well as Family issues.
I have applied the knowledge and insight I gained to my own marriage experience as well as relationships generally with tremendous success. I have attended several seminars and workshops on conflict management and youth development.
I manage a Youth Training Center in Nigeria and constantly have interaction with teenagers; having first-hand experience in teen challenge and family issues generally.
