This 60-mile stretch of beaches is called the Grand Strand, and Myrtle Beach is right in the middle. It was named for the Myrtle trees that grow in the area. Let your family do the driving at the NASCAR Speedpark for high speed adventure. Start out on the Qualifier or the Young Champions Track, or really put on speed at the Gatorade Family 500. The younger ones can ride the kiddie cars or spend the afternoon on the indoor playground. The three-story climbing wall and a high-tech arcade are featured in the NASCAR Speed Dome.

The Children´s Museum offers a fun place for children to touch and play as they learn. Thousands of visitors tour the museum every year to teach their children more about science, technology, and cultures.
