Converting Your Vinyl LP’s On To Your Computer and then a CD or MP3 Player

 (Best Offer)
Summary:
This article explains how to take vinyl LP´s and put them into a computer. It then explains how to put the music on to a CD or an MP3 Player.
Details or Sample:
If you’re one of those folks who have refused to let go of your vinyl albums when CD’s came out, but don’t know how to put them on your computer and then on to a CD or an MP3 player, here’s how you do it.

First you’ll need to get the music from the albums into your computer. There are two ways to do this, depending on what equipment you own. It’s very easy, if a bit time consuming, as you will want to record each song individually. You could record each album side as a single unit but you would be unable to skip any of the songs when you put them on a “favorites” CD or on to your MP3 player.

There are two ways to record your LP songs on to your computer and both involve the good old-fashioned turntable. If you have a turntable connected to an amplifier or receiver, you can simply use stereo audio cables out of the Monitor Out (MO) of the back of the amplifier and connect them to Line In on the back of your computer. You will need a stereo adaptor to connect the stereo cables from the Monitor Out to the Line In on your computer, available at any electronic store. In order to record the LP’s this way; however, you must purchase a music recording program to record in Line In. Windows Media Player does not have a Line In.
