Rolling hills, boreal forest, and dazzling waterways promise an unforgettable vacation.

Southern Saskatchewan is home to some of Canada’s most amazing wildlife and ecosystems. The natural beauty of wheat fields, wild prairie landscapes, and Aboriginal Culture flourish here.

Hiking, horseback, and driving tours give everyone a chance to see Grasslands National Park. Many endangered species such as the burrowing owl, the swift fox, and the black tailed prairie dog inhabit this vast prairie landscape. You can also watch wild bison a short drive away at Old-Man-on-His-Back Conservation Area.

Eastend, Saskatchewan, home of “Scotty the T-Rex,” has the T-Rex Discovery Center. The center is full of informational and interactive displays. Along with guided tours and a gift shop, you have the opportunity to watch real paleontologists at work or try your luck at finding your own dinosaur bones.

The Cypress Hills, located in the southwest corner of the province, is the highest point between the Rocky Mountains and Newfoundland.
