Check at a local nursery to see what native plants they sell. Find plants that work well together, such as tall plants that can shade the smaller ones. Choose your plants while remembering that some flowers attract birds and others attract butterflies or bees. Flowers bloom at different times of the year, so you can plant them to bloom all at one time or stagger them throughout the season.
