Chartering A Plane - Flying Your Own Friendly Skies

Traveling with the airlines has changed over the last decade as security procedures have become lengthy and tedious. It has become a true test in patience as shoe-less travelers inch their way through the long check points at major airports. There are many dangerous people out there, as passengers we understand that concept and all want to be safe in our travels. Yet as seats get smaller and the services offered dwindle away to nothing we have to wonder if the cost of a commercial airline ticket is still worth it and what other options we may have.

Inevitably throngs of passengers will be always be waiting at my gate sneezing, coughing and even attempting to control a colicky baby. The scenario is the same no matter which hub I am flying from and as we are all herded onto the plane I always ask myself why I paid all that extra money for a first class ticket.

Chartering a private plane is much easier and less expensive than most people know. Not just for wealthy business executives anymore - anyone can have their choice of more airports and the only scheduling that matters is their own. Many charter companies can guarantee that they will have a plane or small jet available within five hours of making a reservation. Private charters are still a very secure way to travel yet because they are not part of the commercial airline system you only need to arrive a half hour before a flight and easily board the comfort of your private aircraft.

The cost of a charter is per hour not per person so for the price of a couple of first class tickets you can take a group of people and even your dog too. The idea that everyone on the aircraft has been selected by you is such a wonderful thing - no awkward small talk, no eavesdroppers and definitely no unwanted attention. Additionally at the time of your reservation you can opt for catering and any other extra services that may enhance your comfort. It makes complete sense for families with special needs, a nurse or nanny and any rigid dietary concerns.
