Our dogs love to be outside but I worried about them, as the weather grew colder. One day as I was pulling sweaters from the closet, I decided I should buy sweaters for Sammy and Shiloh. Not only would they stay toasty and warm, but they would also look just adorable.

As soon as I got Sammy into his sweater, he ran after Shiloh. I didn´t even get any pictures. About an hour later, I heard them and ran outside with my camera. Neither one of them was wearing their sweaters!

The little scamps must have helped each other take them off and ditch them. My husband laughed and spit out the "I told you so" he had been holding back. He had told me over and over that our dogs wouldn´t like the sweaters. Imagine our surprise when later that evening Sammy walked up dragging a sweater with him, not the one I had bought him.

Where he got it, I´ll never know, but it was a really nice sweater. He wasn´t wearing it of course, but he laid it down and used it for a blanket. He arranged it and snuggled down into it for a nap. Later, I picked it up and noticed how nice it was. It was from a pricey department store and was 100% wool. Our dog has good taste. Apparently, he isn´t against sweaters, he just prefers designer labels!
