Carolyn Campbell

has published more than 800 articles in local and national magazines such as Ladies' Home Journal, Family Circle, First for Women, Woman's World, Writer's Digest, Redbook, Family Tree and Guideposts. She is currently a reporter for the Los Angeles Bureau of People Magazine. Her articles have also been published internationally in China, Japan, Germany, England, Denmark, Kenya and Australia. She has received several awards from Sigma Delta Chi, the Utah Headliners Chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists. She has twice received a “Top of The Rockies” Excellence in Journalism Award from the Colorado Professional Chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists.

Her novel, “Maddie and The Missing Mom” received second place in the novel category of the 2010 Utah Arts Council Original Writing Contest. Her nationally-published books include Together Again: True Stories of Birth Parents and Adopted Children Reunited, Love Lost and Found: True Stories Of Long Lost Loves Reunited At Last, and Reunited: True Stories of Long Lost Siblings Who Find Each Other Again. She is a frequent presenter at writing workshops such as LDS Storymakers, The League of Utah Writers, the League of Idaho Writers in Pocatello, Idaho, Authors of the Flathead in Kalispell, Montana and the Romantic Times Writing Conference in Houston, Texas. Upon the publication of her second book, she appeared as a “relationship expert” on the national Sally Jessy Raphael TV talk show in New York City. For several years, she was a guest lecturer in the honors journalism department at BYU. She also presents inspirational talks at conferences such as the Utah Adoption Council conference in Salt Lake City and the American Adoption Congress convention in Los Angeles, California. She has presented a humorous talk about home organization at more than one hundred meetings. She is active in social media and has over 900 Facebook friends.
