Writer Biography

Erin McManaway is a technical writer with a degree in professional writing and psychology. Freelancing since 2008, she writes articles primarily for Web content, and has self-published personal fiction books on the side. She has also performed freelance editing for PhD dissertations and various projects, such as press releases and graphic novels.

Prior to freelancing, Erin worked four years as technical support and materials development for the non-profit sector. During that time, she wrote brochures, newsletters, fliers, press releases, annual reports and grant reports. She maintained a small business server and multi-county VPN network, built and restored computers and provided technical support for hardware and software.

Erin is a Web developer who specializes in HTML coding, web hosting and developing WordPress sites. She enjoys writing about social networking and blogging platforms, such as Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr and Blogger. Erin is also a graphic designer proficient in programs such as Photoshop and Painter.
