Writer Biography
I have an MA in English and I love the process of writing and editing. I'm also a qualified lawyer (England and Wales) and I worked in London for many years, mostly assisting poverty-stricken defendants in housing and debt cases.
I've retired now, and share my time between the English seaside and rural Ontario, writing to make ends meet and also for pleasure.
My main interests are current affairs, law, literature, the arts and health but I enjoy researching other areas, and my legal training has left me very concerned about accuracy.
Before training in law, I worked as a ship's cook, a croupier and a social worker, among other things, so I have a wide range of experience to draw on.
