Marlo began writing in 1996 when she accepted a technical writing position to get through University. After school she began to travel extensively while she continued to write. She has visited the UK, Russia, Europe, Africa, Mexico, the United States, Canada and Scandinavia. She has lived in three countries.

In 2008 Marlo expanded her writing skills and began freelance writing. Today she continues to share her writing skills with numerous private clients.

Although her writing preference is travel, she has a diverse genre of interests that also include culture and history, literature, environmental concerns, health and fitness, culinary delights and interior design.
