I’m the writer of the middle grade novel Hildegarde (Harper Collins Australia), which was also made into a feature film, starring Richard E Grant. I have been published in a number of magazine and e-zines, most recently with a short piece of fiction in Guardian Angel Kids and another piece to appear in Challenge Magazine (Australia) later this year. I also recently sold an article to Appleseeds Magazine while underway is a young readers sports novel for Lorimer Publishers.
I have an MFA in Creative Writing from UBC in Vancouver, Canada When I’m not teaching writing to children, and mentoring young writers, I am writing and raising my young daughter.
