Writer Biography

Charles Stephens has a B.A. in philosophy with a creative writing minor. He is interested in clearing away the conflict generating debris that escalates a simple disagreement to a point of irreconcilable difference. By understanding the similarities between all peoples—those near and those far away, he believes we could shed our differences.

Mr. Stephens enjoys reading, writing, cooking, and spending time with friends. He is active in promoting community events and discussions hoping to bring people together who he feels are drifting further apart. Because of these interests, he enjoys writing about a variety subjects including philosophy, film, literature, politics, religion, community, interpersonal relationships, and many more.

Charles also has an extensive background in construction and home renovation, so he is able to share a wealth of knowledge concerning do-it-yourself handyman projects and building ‘tips and tricks.’ While personality out of the construction game, eco-design is a topic he is interested in as well. Because we all share the environment, he believes it is important that we all do our part to take care of it.
