Seeing Through Your Viewfinder
Pablo Picasso said, "Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up." That is true, in part, because people stop "seeing" the world as they gain an understanding of it, substituting understanding for vision. Grass is green. Sky is blue. But sky isn´t always blue, and grass isn´t always green. This is a reminder to stop thinking and start seeing. It offers basic exercises and concepts to help the photographer look with his eyes at what is really there, instead of what he estimates to be there. When he looks, he will find there is a difference between the two. And in the difference, he will become a better photographer.
