Morgan Herbert has been writing since age five, starting with a series of books about a girl named Happy. As an English major at Radford University, Herbert represented her school at the Undergraduate Research Symposium with a literary analysis of Toni Morrison's Song of Solomon. She was also nominated for the Winesett Scholars Library Research award. Recently, Herbert placed in the Appalachian Heritage Writers contest.
