Writer Biography

Jack Winchester is an experienced web content writer who lives in Lihue, HI. Over the last ten years, writing mostly under the pen name of Michael McGrath, Jack has written on multiple topics for a variety of clients, in addition to publishing articles on Suite101.

The subject matter Jack covers ranges from medical information, technical writing, identity theft and computer tutorials to lifestyle pieces that include Hawai’i travel, online gaming and parrot care. While under contract to Razoreye Media he wrote an ebook on home security and the company’s monthly identity theft newsletter.

Jack’s education includes a master’s degree in English, which provided him with the research skills necessary to write on multiple topics. His editors praise his ability to produce well-written, accurate content within very short deadlines, and his willingness to tackle unusual subject matter.

Jack himself is an avid snorkeler and amateur underwater photographer. He provides a home for unwanted “secondhand” parrots: at present the flock numbers two eclectus, a citron cockatoo, a Goffin’s cockatoo, one cockatiel, a sun conure, and a hawk-head parrot who loves Jack and hates just about everyone else.
