Writer Biography

T.L. Council has a Bachelor's degree from University of North Texas in history and anthropology. Her professional history includes a stint as a real estate agent, a bank teller and most recently, a social worker. Currently, she freelances for several online and offline clients while working as a stay-at-home mom.

Council is fluent in American Sign Language and is knowledgeable about deafness, deaf culture and deaf-related issues. Council wears a cochlear implant as a result of progressive hearing loss. Without it, she is completely deaf.
