Writer Biography

As a freelance copywriter for 5 years with a BA in English from Columbia University, Ess has produced various forms of Web content, including blog posts, how-to articles, and travel guides. Ess especially enjoys working one-on-one with start-ups to develop their branded content, whether it's a marketing brochure or humor-driven product descriptions. With advanced language, writing and research skills, she produces exceptional content on topics such as health, entertainment, hobbies, finance, travel, home and garden, law and technology.

A background crafting creative fiction since childhood has allowed Ess to apply a lightheartedness and simplicity into her words, but as an academic at heart, she has learned to weave sentences with eloquence and command of the English language. Two of her most memorable projects to date were an 8000-word audio book text and a promotion re-telling of a classic fairy tale.
