Writer Biography

I am a Professor in the College of Social Work at the University of Tennessee. Over my 25 years as a researcher I have focused on children and parenting, with particular emphasis on infants and early development. My articles have appeared in many parenting magazines, and they focus on the interpretation of scientific knowledge into language that is accessible and interesting to parents.
